This fact immediately shows who The Banner Saga 2 is actually intended for. That way you don’t have to make the choice between the two characters, but all your decisions from The Banner Saga are taken to part two, where you have already made that choice. You can also choose to use your save file from the original. Even before you have done anything, you get this choice with which character you want to go through this second part, namely Rook or his daughter Alette. The planet is still slowly dying, so the misery is not over yet. The almost immortal Sundr Bellower – the antagonist from the first part – has been defeated by the caravan, and in this second part you lead the same caravan to its final destination. The Banner Saga 2 picks up right where the first part left off. Developer Stoic Games does not deserve an originality award for the title, but fortunately the game itself makes up for a lot. The console debut for the series was at the beginning of this year, and now it is already time for the second part of the series: The Banner Saga 2. With a unique graphic style and a dark story, the game was highly acclaimed. The Banner Saga managed to surprise many gamers two years ago.
